Jonathan LaPaglia (Detective Debreno) joined
the show season two
- Jonathan LaPaglia recently completed
three seasons on the television series "7 Days." His
other television credits include a regular role in the series
"New York Undercover" and a starring role in the action-adventure
TV film Inferno. His feature film credits include Woody Allen's
comedy "Deconstructing Harry" and the independent feature
films "Astoria Fix," "Origin of the Species,"
"The Cure," "Poison Berries," "Rain"
and the independent shorts "Screening Frogs" and "Dog
Tail."
- LaPaglia was born and raised in Adelaide,
Australia and graduated with a degree in medicine and surgery
from the University of Adelaide. He spent three years as an emergency
physician in Australia, and briefly in the United Kingdom. While
working full time as a doctor during the day, he began studying
acting at night. Ultimately, he quit medicine and moved to New
York, where he spent two years training at the Circle in the
Square Theater School. It wasn't long after leaving the program
that LaPaglia landed the coveted role as series regular on "New
York Undercover."
