- Jayne Brook recently starred in the
CBS drama series "Chicago Hope." Her additional television
credits include a regular role in "Sirens" and roles
in the films "A Brother's Promise: The Dan Jansen Story,"
on the CBS Television Network, "The Four Diamonds,"
"Bitter Blood" and "Doing Time on Maple Drive."
- Brook's feature film credits include
"Gattaca," "Ed," "Last Dance,"
"Bye Bye, Love," "Clean Slate," "Don't
Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" and "Kindergarten Cop."
- She studied at the Eugene O'Neill Theater
during her senior year at Duke University, before completing
her education at Oxford. She modeled to help finance her education
before honing her acting skills on the London stage in such productions
as "Every Black Day," "Much Ado About Nothing,"
"Danny and the Deep Blue Sea," "You're Gonna Love
It" and "Dreams in an Empty City." After five
years in England, she returned to the United States and was featured
as a young newscaster in the series "WIOU," on the
CBS Television Network.
- She was born and raised in Northbrook,
IL., and lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor John Terlesky.
Her birth date is Sept. 16.
