series "Coach," which he played for nine seasons, Craig
T. Nelson received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in
a Comedy Series, two additional Emmy nominations and four Golden
Globe nominations.

the series "Call to Glory," the movies "Dirty
Pictures," "The Josephine Baker Story" and "The
Huntress" and the mini-series "Creature," "To
Serve and Protect" and, on the CBS Television Network, "The
Fire Next Time." Among his feature film credits are "The
Skulls," "Devil's Advocate," "Ghosts of Mississippi,"
"The Killing Fields" and "Silkwood."
- Nelson's career has flourished through
his work as an actor, writer, director and producer. After attending
the University of Arizona and studying at the Oxford Theater
in Los Angeles, he began his career as a writer and performer
on "The Lohman and Barkley Show," for which he won
an Emmy Award for writing. He eventually formed Family Tree Productions
to develop and produce feature films and television projects.
